About Barefoot Tubing
Barefoot Tubing in Morgan, UT was acquired 2012 by Kyle Hooker, a local river enthusiast and expert rafting guide. He has owned and operated Park City Rafting for over two decades and saw tubing as a fun and exciting addition to the growing demand for river trips. Since the company’s very beginning, they have been hands-down the top northern Utah tubing company due to their passion for what they do, love for showing others a great time, and dedication to giving back to the river that feeds them.
As a locally-owned family business, Kyle and his wife and their six kids put their heart and soul into Barefoot Tubing and Park City Rafting all summer long. They all have a great deal of experience on rivers, and Kyle himself has been guiding rafting trips down the Grand Canyon for 30 years as well as rivers in Chile, Costa Rica, Idaho, and throughout Utah. The Weber River is their favorite spot to come home to, though, and sharing it with others is their passion.

How We Give Back To The Community
The owner and staff at Barefoot Tubing are locals and love the Weber River, and a huge part of the company’s mission is to keep the area beautiful and sustainable for years to come. The entire staff actively participates in trash clean-up and helping with local events and non-profits who are also trying to keep the river and banks “Barefoot friendly.” During the 2010-2015 span alone, they hauled out and recycled over 750 pounds of aluminum from the trash collected along the river.
About "The Mighty Weber River"
The Weber River is home to some of the most beautiful sights in northern Utah, from stunning rock formations to gorgeous vegetation. It is dam controlled to provide much of the irrigation in the area, so water levels stay pretty consistent all summer long. It is also warmer than you would expect, staying in the 60s and 70s all summer long – perfect for a plunge on a hot day!
As a class II and, in some spots, a class III river, it is called “the Mighty Weber” – and rightly so! There are some great rapids and obstacles that will keep you on your toes (and sometimes off your tube), and it nourishes this beautiful valley. There is some great history of the Weber, and if you are interested please don’t hesitate to ask - Kyle and his staff love to share the stories!
