Reservations are in fact required and can be scheduled above, by booking online or by calling: 801-648-8608.

Our tubers must be at least 12 years of age or older. This is an active trip on large tubes, and children younger than 12 have a hard time navigating the obstacles and rapids. If you are traveling with small children, our sister company, Park City Rafting, offers guided rafting trips down the Weber River that are great for kids. You are definitely going to get wet on this trip, so wear something that will be comfortable when soaked. We recommend a long-sleeved shirt to protect against tube rash. Also, sandals or shoes that can be tightened are a very good idea, not only for getting in and out of the tube but also because you may run into things in the river, such as logs and rocks that could hurt bare feet.

Yes, by Utah law you have to wear a life jacket any time you are on the river. Besides, then you and your whole party will match and they look really cool in pictures.

No, the trips aren’t guided. We do, however, fit you with all the equipment you need, take you to and from the river, and give you great pointers for how to get through the rapids. As far as getting down the river, please keep in mind that this is a class II mild whitewater river and you will have to navigate rapids and obstacles including rocks, bridges, and bushes, and you are likely to fall out at least once.

Yes, reservations are required if you want to have a guaranteed spot. Our trips tend to book up quickly, especially over the weekends and on holidays.

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Same-day cancellations and no-shows will be charged.

There is a good chance you will fall off and this can actually be half the fun. If it happens while you are in a rapid, grab a hold of your tube and float on your back (aren’t you glad we made you wear a life vest now?) with your feet pointing downstream. Once you are clear of the waves, hop back on and continue down on your way. Most of the river isn’t very deep so jumping back up should be pretty easy.

Yes, they have a limit of about 250lbs.

No, but the tubes have handles so people can hang on to each other during flat stretches. When you get to rapids you can unhook from each other to maneuver, then grab on to each other again once safely past obstacles.

Each tube has a pouch that will fit a beverage or two. Feel free to bring a few drinks with you, if you wish. We do sell small drag bags to carry your beverages. However, we will not transport large amounts of beer or alcohol. IMPORTANT! We are no longer renting cooler tubes or transporting coolers. While it is legal to drink alcohol on the river, it is illegal to become intoxicated and you may be arrested. We reserve the right to refuse service if your group arrives intoxicated. Glass and styrofoam are not allowed on the river. Regarding alcohol: while it is allowed, we do urge you to remain sober while tubing. There are obstacles and rapids that require navigation, and, while you might not be operating heavy machinery per se, drunken tubing can lead to serious injury. IMPORTANT! No glass of any kind is allowed on the river, and PLEASE bring all trash with you – don’t litter! WE WILL NOT TRANSPORT ANY STYROFOAM COOLERS. They do not last and make a terrible mess along the river.
